The Challenge
The exterior cleaning industry in Queensland is saturated with brands that look identical. Blue logos, water droplets, pressure washer graphics and taglines that compete on price because there is nothing else to say. Jesse needed to exist somewhere completely different from all of that.
What made this brief interesting and honestly quite difficult was how much it had to hold at once. Jesse is a young ex-ADF founder with a story behind the business, a military background, a commitment to giving back to the community and a target client who owns the kind of home they are very particular about. The brand had to feel premium enough that a wealthy homeowner would feel comfortable with it pulling into their driveway, and confident enough that their neighbour seeing it from across the street would not give it a second thought. That is a specific brief and an unforgiving one.
It also had to work for Jesse personally. He is a young man building something he is proud of and he wanted a brand he would want to wear, not just something that looked fine on a uniform. The mascot, a seal holding a pressure washer, had to walk a very particular line. Characterful enough to be memorable, polished enough to belong outside a luxury property, fun without tipping into cute, confident without tipping into aggressive.
The brand also needed to be built to scale, designed to grow from a one person operation into a small team without losing what made it distinctive. This was never just a logo project.

The Result
Several directions fell flat before the right one came together, and working out why they were not landing taught us as much as the final solution did. The shift happened when the question changed from does this look good to would a wealthy homeowner feel comfortable with their neighbour seeing this pull up outside their house.
The final system is built around a bold seal mascot in natural animal form, confident and composed, holding a pressure washer. The navy and cream palette communicates premium without making a big deal of it. The badge system carries the brand story across every touchpoint where the mascot cannot fit. The whole thing scales from a vehicle wrap to a favicon without losing integrity and looks nothing like any other cleaning company in Queensland.
Jesse loved it immediately, which after everything that came before it felt like exactly the right outcome.
